Our main charity is “HOGS”, however, 10% of our annual net proceeds come back to the local communities to support the great work they all do!

We have always held helping our communities at the heart of everything we do at the Farndon Soapbox Derby.

HOSPICE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD (HOGS) As our primary charity partner, we are immensely proud to continue our long-standing support for “HOGS”. The 2025 event has allowed us to contribute even more to their vital palliative care services, helping them support local families during their most difficult times.
PASSION FOR LEARNING We were thrilled to support Passion for Learning this year! This fantastic organisation works one-to-one with children to build their confidence and help them reach their full potential. HOLT COMMUNITY GARDENERS A massive thank you to the Holt Community Gardeners for everything they do to keep our local area beautiful. We were delighted to provide a donation from the 2025 event to help them continue their green-fingered work in making our community bloom!
HOLT CP SCHOOL Supporting local education is a huge part of our mission, and we were so pleased to contribute towards Holt CP School’s outdoor wellbeing centre. This donation from our 2025 proceeds will help create a peaceful, natural space for pupils to thrive.
HOLT UNDER 5’S The team at Holt Under 5’s provides a wonderful start for the youngest members of our community. We were delighted to present them with a cheque from this year’s event to support their essential work and help upgrade their resources.
FARNDON MEMORIAL HALL The Farndon Memorial Hall is the heartbeat of our village. Following our 2025 event, we were once again delighted to support the wonderful ladies who manage this facility, ensuring it remains a fantastic asset for every resident to enjoy.
THE KENYON HALL, HOLT We were pleased to present The Kenyon Hall in Holt with a donation from our 2025 proceeds. This facility is a cornerstone of the local community, and we hope this contribution goes a long way towards the upkeep of such a brilliant space.

Kelly single-handedly runs a non-profit animal rescue organisation that helps hundreds of feral/stray or abandoned animals and we were delighted to help! Keep up the good work Kelly!

Passion for Learning was founded in August 2011 and from the outset, the intention was to train and support community volunteers to use play and enrichment to provide valuable 1:1 support to primary school children helping them to fulfil their true potential. The Farndon Soapbox Derby are delighted to support this wonderful initiative.

The children from Holt Primary School were absolutely delighted that Captain Jack had visited them to hand over a cheque for the sum of £250!
And after all the hard back-breaking work of presenting cheques and handshakes to such wonderful community initiatives, worthy causes and village assets… we treated him to a manicure at Holt’s very own award-winning beauty salon, THE SECRET SPA!
