KLOUD9 is committed to bringing ultra-fast Gigabit internet to rural Britain, including Farndon.
The UK’s current internet infrastructure utilises an old copper network designed for TV and phone services. The plan is to retire this network by 2025, and a lot of UK villages will be left behind.
Kloud9 will be working with the Farndon community to canvass interest in the installation of a full-fibre network that will offer up to 1,000 Mbps upload and download speeds.
‘We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Farndon Soap Box Derby! We are a Cheshire-based business, that hails from a village community ourselves, so we firmly embrace family values. We have a strong commitment to giving back to the communities we work with. We are not a corporate giant, but a company made of regular people with big hearts.
We will be setting up a stand at the Farndon Soapbox Derby in order to get a chance to talk to you and get to know you. Some of our team, including Julie Bushell, our community manager, will be attending to support for this fantastic effort to raise money for The Hospice of the Good Shepherd as well as local community initiatives.
We will be spending time in the community and chatting to you about what Gigabit internet is, why you need it, how the installation will work, and how the community as a whole will benefit.

Here are 4 fantastic advantages of installing Gigabit internet in your homes and businesses.
- Ultrafast Gigabit internet sees home values jump by £3,500 as prospective buyers want to buy homes with this infrastructure installed.
- Within seconds, Gigabit internet enables video streaming, whether via iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon movies, gaming, and video calls.
- Working from home; with the power of Gigabit internet, you can video call and not worry about the internet dropping during important meetings.
- You can connect multiple devices across your home and business without compromising internet download speeds.
See you at the Farndon Soapbox Derby on the 18th of September 2022!
